Cargo Craft Offers 50 Million Kilometres of Proven Reliability

For the first time, Australian consumers can now purchase one of the most thoroughly tested, locally designed, bulletproof e-bikes in our nation.

COVID-19 has supercharged e-commerce. In many suburbs, Australia Post has stepped up to seven-day delivery, in all weather, road and footpath conditions. Only the toughest vehicles and top-notch, nationwide parts and maintenance service can meet this challenge.

Electric Vehicles Pty Ltd (EV) has delivered all this, keeping Australia Post’s 2,500 e-cargo bikes rolling for over 10 years and 50 million kilometres.

During this decade, EV has relentlessly refined their bike’s design to make it stronger, more durable, better handling and with greater carrying capacity.

Under their new Cargo Craft banner, EV will make not only their latest Australia Post model available for sale via dealers, but a whole new range of Australian-designed cargo cycles, starting with a long tail e-cargo bike and a heavy-duty e-trike.

Demo versions of these new models have already landed in Australia along with a very small quantity of e-trikes for sale, but the first substantial shipments will arrive in the second half of 2021.

They will have a selection of colours to choose from, although the current stock of e-cargo bikes is all in ‘Australia Post’ red.

In addition to 50 million kilometres of the toughest testing courtesy of our posties, all Cargo Craft cycles will be backed by the same unparalleled after-market service network enjoyed by Australia Post, including dedicated service technicians and parts in every State – a big advantage for dealers.

Cargo Craft’s robust product range will be ideal for businesses, government departments, campuses and precincts, community groups, commuters and families.

Able to carry people and goods with a total weight of up to 200kg for 80km without re-charge, their e-bikes and e-trikes deliver robust, affordable, fast, clean and COVID-safe transport for congested cities.

Key to Cargo Craft’s success is their ability to customise e-bikes and cargo accessories to meet clients’ specific requirements. All their cycles are designed and developed in Australia and engineered to handle our tough environment.
