60 or Bust!

Thank-you for helping me raise funds for these two great charities!

60 or Bust!

Hi, my name is Phil Latz. If you’re reading this and don’t know me, then in the context of this article I’ll describe myself as the founder of The Latz Report and Micromobility Report.

On 17th March 2022 I turned 60. To celebrate, I’ve rode from Melbourne to Sydney, via the ‘back roads’ that include the mountains and Thredbo.

I’m pleased to say that I finished all of the training and the ride itself without any crashes or injuries.

I rode to raise funds and awareness for two charities that I’ve been closely involved with for many years – We Ride Australia and World Bicycle Relief

You can read more about each charity on their respective websites and more about why I think these are such great causes in two separate articles attached to this page.

Thanks to all of the individuals and companies that made donations. You can see their names and logos below.

Thanks to your generous support, we raised over $20,000 in total, which was divided between the two charities.

At the start in Melbourne

Into the mountains

Arriving at Thredbo

Finishing at the Sydney Opera House
