Three weeks remain to submit nominations for the 2022 Cycling Luminaries Awards, to celebrate people, places and programs that get people riding bikes in Australia.
Nominations close at 5pm on Monday 12 September, not 12 August as stated in previous publicity for this year’s awards.
The 2022 winners will be announced at a gala dinner at Randwick Racecourse in Sydney on 25th November, as part of the inaugural Australian Micromobility Conference, an event that brings together industry leaders, national advocacy organisations and government decision makers.
The Cycling Luminaries Awards have been held annually by peak advocacy group We Ride Australia but have not been conducted since 2019 because of the pandemic.
Nominations are open to any individual, group, business, event, organisation or school that has achieved significant change for cycling, and inspired or influenced others.
