Fiona Campbell is quietly and calmly spoken and rather small in stature. She’s also quite happy to stay out of the limelight.

But when it comes to being a true influencer, Fiona is a giant.

She’s highly respected by her colleagues and peers.

But even those that might be trying to block her progress and ideas also develop a grudging respect for the tenacity and sharp strategy that hides beneath her calm, quiet exterior.

After serving a long apprenticeship as a cycling advocate in a wide variety of voluntary roles, Fiona landed her dream job at the City of Sydney where she has since been promoted to Manager Cycling Strategy. In this role she leads a team that manages one of Australia’s largest cycling infrastructure design, construction and promotion budgets.

After years of struggle and sometimes media controversy, it seems that momentum is now building with a record number of projects at various stages in the pipeline.
