Speakers Invited for Sustainable Trails Conference
St Helens, Tasmania
Authorities in sustainable trails planning, construction and monitoring are invited to nominate as speakers for this year’s Sustainable Trails Conference, being held in Tasmania on 1st to 3rd November.
Innovative storytellers interested in speaking at the conference, being held at St Helens in North East Tasmania, have until 6th July to submit a submission.
“The Sustainable Trails Conference is the peak gathering of leaders driving Australia and New Zealand’s trail transformation and we’re looking for innovative storytellers who can lead interactive and engaging sessions and workshops,” event organiser Donna Graf said.
“We are on the search for thought-leaders to deliver the best possible content experience and relevance for our conference. We are looking for speakers and workshop facilitators that are bold, visionary and authentic.”
Donna said the conference organisers are looking for speakers on topics including environmental planning, trail planning, construction and maintenance technology, sustainable funding models, trends and data in outdoor activity and accommodation, monitoring of trail user expectations and the impacts of COVID.
The search also includes presenters for workshops on issues such as trail construction, hand-built trails, machine-built trails, trail building for beginners, pump track design essentials, Bridges 101, the latest trail technology and trail auditing and maintenance.
