BIKEBOX Distribution Boosts Mahle Availability

MAHLE SmartBike Systems has bolstered its technical customer service in Australia by partnering with Melbourne-based distributor BIKEBOX.

The Spanish manufacturer, established in 2015, is a subsidiary of German automotive parts manufacturer Mahle Group and has quickly established a strong presence in the bicycle industry after releasing the lightest and most compact e-bike drive system.

Its components have been embraced by more than 80 bike brands throughout the world, including almost all the leading manufacturers.

BIKEBOX and Mahle say the new partnership will bring wider availability in the region for Mahle’s X20 and X35+ rear-hub drivetrain systems, its Range Extender e185, Pulsar ONE and eShifter.

BIKEBOX’s list of brands also includes Schwalbe bicycle tyres, Orbea bikes, Exposure lights, Orca wetsuits and trigear, Squirt chain lube, Cushcore inner tyre suspension and Ergon grips and saddles.
