Expo Booth Sales Off and Racing at Randwick
Randwick, NSW
Expo booth sales for the 2022 Micromobility Conference and Expo are off to a strong start since their recent release.
“We’ve sold approximately one quarter of the total available floorspace in the opening weeks,” said the event’s co-founder, Phil Latz.
“Some of the first companies to put their hand up for booth sales and sponsorship packages have included Brompton, Bikecorp, PSI Cycling and Smartmotion.
The inaugural Micromobility Conference and Expo will be held at Royal Randwick Racecourse in Sydney’s inner eastern suburbs on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th November.
All indoor exhibits will be housed in Royal Randwick’s Kensington Room, a strategic choice to maximise promotion opportunities for a wide variety of exhibitors.
“The Kensington Room is significantly smaller than the venues we used in the 2000s for the former Bicycling Australia Show, which started at The Dome at Sydney Olympic Park and later shifted to the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne,” Phil said.
“We’re deliberately starting smaller with this new event and limiting maximum booth size to 72 square metres.
“At our previous show, some exhibitors would take 200 square metres or more, but we’d rather see a good mix of more moderately-sized exhibit spaces with no exhibitor needing to make a huge investment to take part. Another key difference is that admission for 2022 will be free of charge to both trade and consumers, provided they pre-register,” he said.
“We’re continuing to have very positive conversations with major bike brands and expect more bookings to follow soon.”
Phil said a contract has also been signed with a presenting partner who will be the exclusive top sponsor across both the Micromobility Conference and Expo.
“It’s a very significant partnership that will put the event on a firm foundation for this year and beyond,” he explained.
“Further details on the partnership will be revealed soon.”
